Public Service Commissioner Koopman To Host Two ‘Listening Sessions’

District 3 Public Service Commissioner Roger Koopman announced last week his first two “Listening Sessions,” which will be held in Bozeman on April 15 and in Livingston on the 16th. The Bozeman session starts at 6:00 pm at the Bozeman C’mon Inn, and Livingston begins at 6:30 at the Best Western Yellowstone Inn.

The sessions will focus attention on the proposed purchase by Northwestern Energy of 11 hydroelectric projects currently owned by PPL Montana. Similar meetings are being scheduled throughout the state, as commissioners develop an administrative record of public opinion, that will assist them in deciding the case.
