Humans need a place to go too! Snowfill Recreation Area is one of the most popular off-leash dog parks in the city. The 2+ mile figure 8 loop has spectacular views of the Bridger Mountains and overlooks the city of Bozeman. The dogs love it and have countless places to do their business. Their owners aren’t so lucky and have to drive a mile and a half to find a public bathroom. The Gallatin Valley Land Trust (GVLT) is currently raising money through a $6,000 challenge match to install a vault toilet at Snowfill.

Wednesday, June 24 at the East Gallatin Recreation Area at 6:30 p.m. Late registration is available at the event at 5:30 p.m.

T-shirts will be provided to all registrants and all runners are entered the “sweeten the ‘pot’” raffle for goodies and prizes. Starkey’s will be providing food after the race. Registration is $30 and all proceeds will go toward GVLT’s vault toilet project at Snowfill.
