Police Investigate Man’s Death in Billings

BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) — Authorities say a 61-year old man was found dead in Billings.

Yellowstone County officials described the man as an American Indian transient whose body was found Monday morning near the railroad tracks.

Authorities did not say how he died, nor did they release his name pending notification of his relatives.

The Associated Press reports the death is being investigated by the Yellowstone County Sheriff's Department and the Yellowstone County coroner.
