Plains Man Wanted For Federal Standoff Captured in Washington – State Headlines

Jake Ryan, 27, of Plains was taken into federal custody on Monday after being captured in a shed in Yacolt, Washington. Ryan was wanted for the 41-day armed occupation of a wildlife refuge in Oregon.

Accused rapist Jordan Scott Bahr appeared in Missoula Justice Court this week after being extradited from Minnesota. He is free on $30,000 bond.

Questions have arisen over the Historic Preservation Commission's ability to fairly consider a demolition permit for the Missoula Mercantile, according to Martin KIdston with Missoula Current.
