Paddlesport Fans! Indulge Your Passion For A Great Cause: The Epic Shore to Shore Race

Grab your kayak, canoe or any other human-powered craft and get ready to hit Flathead Lake on August 10th for the Second Annual Epic Shore to Shore Race!  "The Epic" features a 26-mile race for teams or solo paddlers, a 10 mile solo, 5 mile solo, and a fast paced 4X2 relay for teams. The race is a benefit for First Descents.

FIRST DESCENTS offers young adult cancer fighters and survivors  a free outdoor adventure experience designed to empower them to climb, paddle and surf beyond their diagnosis, defy their cancer, reclaim their lives and connect with others doing the same. The programs are all over the country and range anywhere from 2 days to 1 week. Any young adult with cancer is eligible regardless of physical challenges, diagnosis or prognosis.
