Possession of methamphetamine, heroin, morphine, oxycodone, marijuana, drug paraphernalia  and over $2,000 cash have landed 35 year-old Darrin Reber in the Missoula County Jail on $50,000 bail.

According to court documents, Reber, already on probation for a previous drug conviction, was apprehended on Thursday with all the aforementioned drugs in his possession. A backpack containing many of the drugs was found in Reber's vehicle next to a child's car seat. Upon being stopped, a glass pip with black crystal residue was found in his pocket. He claimed he won the over $2,000 in cash gambling. The suspected meth weighed nearly 60 grams, an amount large enough to be intended for sale.

Deputy Missoula County Attorney Brittany Santorno said Reber poses a threat to society, and asked for $50,000 bail from Judge Marie Anderson.

"This defendant is currently on probation with intent to distribute, as well as possession and other drug related offenses," Santorno said. "He was taken on a probation warrant, and all this stuff was found incident to arrest and a probation search. Methamphetamine, heroin and mushrooms were found. He was combative with law enforcement and had to be restrained for his blood draw. Additionally, he's never paid a single financial obligation while on probation."

Judge Anderson agreed, and set bail at $50,000. His next court appearance was set for October 7.
