Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic has found passion in political activism along with music, but now, the legendary musician has combined the two in a campaign video for Washington Lt. Governor hopeful Bill Finkbeiner. The Republican politician teamed up with Novoselic to perform his own campaign theme, a take on Johnny Cash's 'I've Been Everywhere.'

The song is accompanied by a YouTube video, which begins with a statement from Finkbeiner. "It's been an adventure campaigning for Lt. Governor across the state and sharing my plan for political reform, bipartisan cooperation, and real-world solutions in Olympia," begins Finkbeiner. "Trying to put this experience in words is impossible, so we put it to pictures and music."

He continues, "Thank you to Krist Novoselic for playing and arranging the music." Finkbeiner also thanks legendary music producer Jack Endino (Nirvana, Bruce Dickinson) for recording the song and providing coaching for Finkbeiner's singing.

Boasting a country-western trill, lyrics to the revamped Johnny Cash tune include, 'I’ve been everywhere, man / I’ve been everywhere, man / Gonna make the Senate fair, man / Remove the aisle there, man / Olympia better beware, man / ’cause I’ve been everywhere.'
