Maclean William Kayser an 18-year-old western Montana high school student has been arrested. He is is charged with intimidation and assault with a weapon after reportedly making numerous threats to "shoot up the school."

Kayser  told investigators he was joking and he regretted frightening students. Allegedly  Kayser said on Feb. 12 or 13 that he was going to commit a school shooting. He warned  that students wearing a red shirt would be spared and only  wearing yellow would be targeted.. Feb. 15  on a Snapchat post he referred to the Florida school shooting a day earlier and posted "soon coming to Darby."

Kayser was charged  in Ravalli County Justice Court. And his bail was set at $50,000.

He has not entered a plea.
