A Montana 8th-grader does it again. He was the best speller in Montana last year and went to the National Spelling Bee where he lost. Now the Park County student has repeated as Treasure State Spelling Bee Champion. Winning our state's spelling bee two years in a row.

"Talmud" is the word Aidan Veress of Gardiner School spelled correctly. He says it "feels really, really good" to win again but he doesn't feel as much pressure because he'd been through last year's contest.

He's heading to the Scripps National Spelling Bee in May. The Billings Gazette reports 58 fourth- through eighth-graders from all across Montana participated in the competition, which took place at Rocky Mountain College.
