Missoula Police received an odd call early Sunday morning, June 5, at around 12:23 a.m. regarding a prowler.

"Officers responded to a call in the area of 1900 block of 36th street for what was described as a prowler," said Missoula Police Public Information Officer Travis Welsh. "The complainants were sitting in their vehicle on the block and observed a male walking up to residents windows and looking in. They said he looked in each window for about 10 to 15 seconds before he disappeared around a residents and went to the back."

The prowler was wearing very little clothing and eye-witness gave this description.

"This male was described as being naked except for a pair of boots he was wearing on his feet, and what appeared to be a hooded sweatshirt he was carrying over his arm," Welsh said. "He was described as a white male with brown, curly hair who was said to have a bit of a belly, 35 to 45 years of age."

Anyone with information about the prowler or who may have noticed similar behavior in recent weeks is asked to call the Missoula Police Department.
