As part of Sexual Assault Awareness Month activities, VA Montana Health Care System hosts a one-mile walk Tuesday from 10:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. to raise awareness of Military Sexual Trauma and VA’s support to victims.  The public is welcome to participate.  A marked route starts and ends at the Fire Hall, Building 16, on Veterans Drive.

Dr. Christine Childers, head of VA Montana’s Behavioral Health Department will deliver opening remarks at the ceremony.  Participants will receive teal stickers and those dressed in teal, the official color for Sexual Assault Awareness Month, receive a water bottle.

Veterans may call (406) 582-5376 or their VA primary care provider for more information on VA’s MST services.
