Mavis Staples New Album [VIDEO]

Mavis Staples is truly an American Treasure, in the company of Ray Charles, Miles Davis & Frank Sinatra. You perhaps know her best from the Staples Singers hit, "I'll Take You There." Her six decades of contributions to the American musical landscape largely went unheralded until her 2010 collaboration with Jeff Tweedy, of the band Wilco, which earned Mavis her first Grammy. Mavis has enlisted Jeff again (if it ain't broken, why think of fixin' it) for the new release, One True Vine.
