Our exclusive interview with General Michael Flynn started getting national attention the moment we wrapped up the interview this morning. The New York Daily News highlights the "rare interview" as Flynn, President Trump's former National Security adviser, joined us live on "Montana Talks" with Aaron Flint on Tuesday morning.

The Washington Post was first to file a story:

Flynn, who retired from the Army as a three-star general, called into a Montana radio station to tout the military credentials of Senate hopeful Troy Downing, one of four candidates seeking the GOP nomination to challenge Democratic U.S. Sen. Jon Tester...Flynn has mostly stayed out of the public eye, declining interview requests and freezing his Twitter account. But in light of the upcoming congressional primaries, the retired three-star general has lent his voice to conservative candidates across the country, and on Tuesday he gave a rare phone interview to a Montana radio station to endorse Republican Senate candidate Troy Downing.

For those who missed the interview, I will re-air the interview with General Flynn during the Billings portion of our show in the 7 a.m. hour on Wednesday. That will air on Newstalk 95.5 and 970 KBUL in Billings. (Montana Talks goes statewide from 9-10 a.m.)

During the statewide Montana Talks, from 9-10 a.m., we will have the phone lines open for the full hour. Call in to the show at 406-294-0970.

In case you missed it, check out what Rush Limbaugh had to say about the latest news regarding General Flynn: Unredacted House Intel Report Reveals the Railroading of Michael Flynn

Do you know what the redactions were? The redactions were the FBI and the DOJ covering up what they had done to protect themselves, primarily in the pursuit of Michael Flynn! They had redacted pretty much all of the information, data, memos and so forth that really gave up the ghost in terms of what they were doing. It had nothing to do with national security. It had nothing to do with legitimate reasons for keeping information private. It was strictly to protect themselves. To protect their bad judgment.

To protect the scam that they were engaged in in this entire Russia investigation.

They redacted information that would have been helpful to Michael Flynn.
