The intersection of Frontage Road–Valley Center Spur is dangerous, as we saw last week. The Montana Department of Transportation is doing an engineering study on the intersection that will be release later this year. And at least one person in the highway department thinks shutting down the Spur is the best thing to do.

Morning Show listeners have chimed in with their thoughts, including Richard who emailed:

Put a large sign just before the railroad track. PUT DOWN YOUR CELL PHONE BEFORE PROCEEDING. Why is the speed limit on Frontage Road that fast when Valley  Center, a wide, well constructed highway that could easily handle 60MPH set at 45?'

Other listener suggestions include dropping the speed limit to 45mph and removing the turning lane.

What are your thoughts?
