Prepare to have some patience when traveling on Highland Boulevard during the week of July 23rd. A chunk will be completely closed for water line installation with a detour to Haggerty. We've got the map for you here!

  • The designated portion of Highland Boulevard will be completely closed and traffic will be detoured.
  • There certainly will be access to Bozeman Deaconess Hospital (Bozeman Health) but note that the detour distance is longer than the normal Highland route.
  • Basically the detour will come in and out by the "upper field parking lot and recycling area". That street is called Ellis.
  • This water line installation is expected to take the majority of the week of July 23rd, 2018.

This was the official traffic statement from the City of Bozeman:

Highland Boulevard is planned to be closed starting 7/23 between Main and Curtiss for water line installation.

Traffic will be detoured via Ellis and Haggerty, and a temporary traffic signal will be operated at Haggerty and Main.

The closure is anticipated to last most of the week.
