In effect until midnight tonight there is a high wind warning in effect from Livingston to the Beartooth foothills. Gusts around 70 miles per hour have already been reported around the Pine Creek area.

FOOTHILLS NEAR NYE. IN ADDITION…DRIVERS OF HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES
SHOULD USE EXTREME CAUTION AND BE ALERT FOR DANGEROUS CROSS
WINDS…INCLUDING MOTORISTS ON I-90 NEAR LIVINGSTON.

* WINDS…SOUTHWEST WINDS 40 TO 50 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 70 MPH ARE
EXPECTED TO CONTINUE THROUGH THE EVENING. THE STRONGEST WINDS
WILL BE FOUND FROM THE NORTHERN END OF THE PARADISE
VALLEY…THROUGH LIVINGSTON AND DOWN INTO THE BEARTOOTH
FOOTHILLS NEAR NYE.
