Heroes and Horses is a non-profit program designed to help combat veterans re-enter civilian life, based in Manhattan. The 2nd annual benefit to raise money for soldiers to complete this program will be held Saturday, September 12. The event will also welcome the return of a veteran alumni who is currently on a 1,000 + mile solo journey on horseback along the Continental Divide in support of Heroes and Horses.

“We are not defined buy our scars, but by what we do after the wound closes,” said Micah Fink, Executive Director of Heroes and Horses.

The event will begin at 4 p.m. and will host a kids festival, pig roast, silent and live auctions, tastings from Dog Tag Brewery, Outlaw Brewery, Willies Distillery and Wildrye Distillery. There will be live music and the showing of the new Heroes and Horses promotional video trailer.

Tickets can be purchased at Yellowstone Harley Davidson, The Broken Arrow Bar & Casino and benefit sponsors: Dog Tag Brewery, Outlaw Brewery, Willies Distillery, and Wildrye Distillery. Tickets can also be purchased at the door, day of the event. All proceeds going to Heroes and Horses.
