After long and often contentious debate Governor Steve Bullock, along with Sen. Ed Buttrey, will sign SB 405, the Montana Health and Economic Livelihood Partnership Act, into law Wednesday. The bill brings Montanans’ federal tax dollars back to the state to extend coverage to low-income residents of the state, while throwing a lifeline to the state’s rural hospitals.
