Halloween is coming up fast. Thinking about what you might want to do? Well, Livingston has something fun happening. It's called "Double Feature and Zombie Costume Contest."

The free event is brought to us by The Livingston Film Series. It starts on Halloween evening at 6 p.m. with the movie Spring Break Zombie Massacre'followed at 7 p.m. with Undead or Alive.

A Zombie Costume Contest follows the first film, and there is a $50 prize for first place. The scary fun is at The Dulcie Theatre at the Shane Lalani Center for the Arts 415 East Lewis Street in Livingston.

The Livingston Film Series, which is now in its third season, presents a variety of independent features, documentaries, local films, and special screenings. So every second Sunday of every month something is happening. Admission is always free and donations are accepted.

According to the Livingston Series, Spring Break Zombie Massacre is a cult smash made by two filmmakers with Down Syndrome. The story is about two bionic brothers who fight and party through a zombie apocalypse.

Undead or Alive'is about a Civil War deserter and a heartbroken cowboy who run into an entire region of the undead. A plague somehow is turning people into flesh-hungry zombies.

Free scary movies and a costume party. What more could you ask for on Halloween?
