The Missoula Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire at 516 ½ Toole Street at  5:46 Sunday morning. Three engines, a truck company, Battalion Chief, Fire Marshall and Inspector responded along with City PD and Missoula Emergency Services.

Smoke and flames were pouring out of a storage unit in the complex. Crews were able to get the fire knocked down, but the fire jumped to two other units and crews had to use forcible entry to get to the spreading fire. Firefighters were able to lock the blaze down to just three units, but other units suffered from smoke and water damage.

There were no injuries reported and the fire is still under investigation. Damage is estimated at $10,000.
