Business Insider released a video of the process McDonald's goes through creating their burgers.

McDonald's provided a tour of their U.S. meat processing facility, Cargill, to show how their hamburgers are made. The entire process illustrates how large pieces of meat eventually become patties.

A majority of the meat comes from the United States, but with some help from Canada, New Zealand and Australia.

Yes, the meat is flash frozen and that process is shown in the video.
