Plein Air Art Day @ The Livingston Farmers Market with Eric Wink Performing
From 4:30 to 6:00, artists will set up easels around the Farmers Market. Shoppers can watch the artists work & purchase Quick Draw paintings
Plein air painting is the art of painting outdoors, capturing the lighting and mood of a moment in time. It requires the artist to work quickly and adapt to changing conditions. On Wednesday, August 14th, from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m., the artists will set up their easels in and around the Farmers Market. Market shoppers can observe the artists at work and have the opportunity to purchase the Quick Draw paintings. The musical guest will be Eric Wink.
Held every Wednesday from 4:30-7:30 pm (with live music until 9), the Livingston Farmers Market runs from June 5th through September 25th at the Sacajawea Park Bandshell, next to the Livingston Civic Center. There is locally grown produce and meat, baked goods, prepared foods, beer, and local arts, crafts, and jewelry. It’s a great place to come for dinner and to socialize, stock up on locally grown foods, shop from the local artisans, learn about community resources, or just relax and enjoy the view of the Yellowstone River and the Absaroka Mountain Range while listening to live music. Come out and support your local farmers, ranchers, and artisans. We’re growing for you!
