Additional Information

Brews & the Big Sky explores the unique history of the Big Sky state paired with exceptional Montana brews. Partake in an adults-only night out as the museum becomes a lively venue for drinks and local history. Sample beer from a featured Montana brewery, enjoy light appetizers, and wander through MOR’s exhibitions.

This month, learn about how before the advent of the tractor, farmers and ranchers in Big Sky country relied on true horsepower to till the soil and harvest crops. Join us for a discussion of how humans and their animals worked together to make the northern plains one of the world’s greatest grain and hay producing regions.

Experience informal gallery talks with Curator of History, Michael Fox, at 6 & 6:30 p.m. in the Paugh History Hall or the Changing Exhibit Gallery. Explore items from MOR’s collections, ask questions, and learn more about Montana’s past. This popular adults-only evening at MOR is the perfect way to discover great brews and the history of the Big Sky state.

Age 21+ only.
