Thanks to the bad economy and shows such as ‘Extreme Couponing,’ coupons should be as popular as ever. But how many people actually use them while shopping?
According Ipsos poll of 1,041 adults, 83 percent say their family frequently or actively uses coupons. Women (85 percent) are slightly more likely than men (81 percent) to be regular coupon users.
This is a trend that is likely to continue for some time, since the poll also found that 69 percent of parents talk to their children about coupons.
