Daines to Kavanaugh: I’ll Be in DC to Vote Yes on Nomination

Senator Steve Daines, R-Mont., announces on Twitter, Friday, that he spoke with Brett Kavanaugh and assured the Supreme Court Justice nominee that he will be in Washington, D.C. Saturday to vote yes on Kavanaugh's nomination.

Daines' daughter is getting married this coming weekend and there have been questions about whether Daines would be in the nation's capital to vote on the nomination.

According to the AP, Daines has been offered access to Rep. Greg Gianforte's private jet so that the senator can vote on the nomination and be present at the wedding in Montana.
