Chinese Economy Could Overtake U.S. By 2016

According to the International Monetary Funds latest forecast, by 2016 China's economy will surpass the economy of the U.S. Previous forecasts predicted the tides to turn but not for another decade.

While we may become second, our share of the worlds wealth will still stay above 17% of the rest of the world. What do you think can be done to avoid the slipping of the U.S. economy? Have we dug ourselves too deep relying on outside countries such as China?
