The Livingston Roundup Chicks n Chaps Women’s Rodeo Clinic will be holding its second annual event on Thursday, July 3, 2014 in conjunction with the Tough Enough to Wear Pink night at the Livingston Roundup Rodeo. Thus far the Livingston Roundup Chicks n Chaps has granted over $22,000 to local women to assist with the expenses associated with the treatment of cancer.  Since its inception in 2008, Chicks n Chaps™ Women’s Rodeo Clinic has been received as a very popular event for women interested in learning more about the sport of rodeo, and at the same time, raising awareness and funding for those battling breast cancer.

Due to tremendous support, the Livingston branch is now able to open up funds to women from Park, Sweet Grass and Meagher counties for expenses associated with the diagnosis and treatment of all kinds of cancer, although their primary focus will always be breast cancer.

One of the primary ways funds are raised is through Chicks participating in the July 3rd event.  During the event the Chicks will participate in the rodeo clinic which includes the opportunity toride a mechanical bull, rope a roping dummy, and learn about what goes on behind the scenes of a PRCA rodeo.
