If Senate bill 390 makes it's way through the legislature it would be a state wide ban on cell phone use while driving. I think it's a great idea. I have about been hit numerous times by idiots not paying attention. We got along without them before they came around so give em a break, at least while driving.

Even more, Montana Law, if passed, would let law enforcement pull you over for that alone, with no other reason to pull you over. Distracted driving is getting worse.

The bill is sponsored by Democratic Senator Christine Kaufmann from Helena. She said:

It takes your eyes off the road, it takes your hands off the vehicle and takes your mind off of driving.
