Senator Steve Daines just signed an amicus brief for Amici Curiae South Dakota v. Wayfair case. Daines is urging the United States Supreme Court to rule against allowing states to implement an internet sales tax.
Since it’s an Omnibus Bill that gives President Trump the option to do whatever he wants with the money regardless of where the money is directed in the bill.

Granted, tariffs are going to be a hard sell to a predominantly liberal city commission. They'd have to weigh the good of the community against a Trump tool.
We only have a 2 percent duty fee for almost 75 percent of foreign goods entering this country. Two percent is hardly a protection for American workers.
