Senator Tester recently launched #CorpsArentPeople social media campaign.  The campaign features graphics on Facebook and Twitter showing that corporations can’t perform the same activities – like riding a bike – as real people.

Fall is fabulous in Yellowstone National Park. The foliage is ablaze in color, the bull elk are bugling, the fish are biting and the crowds are gone. All-in-all, this is a wonderful time to visit the Park.

Montana’s Unemployment Rate at 4.7 percent

 

Montana’s unemployment rate was at 4.7 percent in August, a slight increase of one-tenth of one percent from July.  The unemployment rate has decreased by 0.6 percentage points since January—during that time, Montana has created more than 12,000 jobs.

Senator Tester Reminds Montanans: Apply For Military Academy Nominations

 

Senator Jon Tester is reminding Montana students interested in serving in the Armed Forces to apply for military academy nominations.

A nomination from the senator is the first step in applying to attend the U.S. Air Force Academy, the U.S. Military Academy, the U.S. Naval Academy or the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy.
