Missoula Mayor John Engen Took a Pay Raise After Saying He Wouldn’t

Update: The mayor and his staff are contesting the numbers provided by the Missoula Finance Department. If these numbers are incorrect, they will significantly change this story. We have been told by the mayor's staff that correct data will be sent to us on Monday, September 22. The pay raise for FY 2015 has not been contested, only the amount of pay when Mayor Engen began his career. Due to possible incorrect data, percentage calculations throughout the original story may be incorrect.
