Campaign Watch: Rep. Steve Daines Raises More Than $1M for Senate Run

Rep. Steve Daines the early frontrunner for the Republican nomination to fill Sen. Max Baucus' soon to be vacant seat in the U.S. Senate raised $837,773 from individuals and political committees, and another $198,580 from joint fundraisers with other candidates.

Democrats also in the race include Lt. Gov. John Walsh, former Lt. Gov. John Bohlinger and newcomer Dirk Adams of Wilsall.
