This escalated quickly.

According to the Bozeman Police Department, on Sunday, July 8, a man was arrested for allegedly pointing a shotgun at his neighbor in a shared laundry room.

The suspect apparently texted the neighbor to remover her laundry and when she went to do so, the man allegedly shoved her in a corner and pointed a shotgun in her face.

According to the police report, the shotgun was not loaded during the incident..

At one point, the suspect allegedly told the woman to hand over her cellphone so that she couldn't report him to police.

When questioned by police, the suspect said that the woman was "snooty" and he was tired of being "bullied." The man reportedly went on to tell an officer "I don't know what's wrong with me, I need help."

The man was transported to the Gallatin County Detention Center. Bail was set at $200,000 during a Monday court appearance.
