The full moon on Tuesday this week was the third full moon of four that we are expecting this summer season. Being the third of four in the season, it is classified as a seasonal Blue Moon. However, it was not the second full moon of the month as the more commonly known monthly Blue Moon is defined. Either way, the smoke in the air and clear weather created a strikingly beautiful site!

Thanks to Bozeman resident Michael Schuh, we are able to relive the beautiful moments in our beautiful valley! Also included is a photo of the giant smoke plume emitting from the Miner Paradise Complex Fire south of town. Did you get a glimpse of the Blue Moon and the pink sunset on Tuesday night
