Bipartisan Budget Agreement Announced Tuesday

The budget deal announced Tuesday evening by Republican Rep. Paul D. Ryan and Democratic Sen. Patty Murray, vague on details and big on, what does that mean?

"In divided government, you don't always get what you want,'' said Mr. Ryan in announcing the deal. Ms. Murray followed with, "We have lurched from crisis to crisis, from one cliff to the next,'' she said. "That uncertainty was devastating to our fragile economic recovery."

The deal goes to the House and Senate for approval in the near future.
