Belgrade Shooting

The Gallatin County sheriff's office is investigating after a person was found dead Sunday night in a residence west of Belgrade from which shots had been fired earlier in the day. The cause of death will be investigated by the Park County Coroner’s Office at the request of the Gallatin County Sheriff/Coroner.

Sheriff Gootkin commended the responders for their hard work in very cold and tense conditions and community members for their understanding and cooperation.
