America Ranked 35th In Math

We may have top ranking Basketball, Football, Baseball, and even MMA athletes here in America, but the topic not covered so much by our media is our academic prowess. America is behind 34 countries in Math and 28countries in Science when concerned with our youth.

I for one am completely shocked by this. I would think and have always thought that America was far ahead of the rest of the world. It seems to me that the tortoise  and the hair effect has taken place in our country. While we rocketed forward surpassing all other countries in the last century, it seems we have began to rest and maybe even "sleep" allowing the tortoise a chance to catch up. But just as America was founded, we are the masters of overcoming any obstacle in our way. Time Warner Cable is attempting to do just that by promoting after school programs and basically just spreading the word that we need to make a change.
