A magnitude 4.2 earthquake shook Indiana at about 6:00am MT this morning (12/30). Residents reported shaking that lasted about ten seconds. According to the USGS, the quake was centered about 13 miles north of Indianapolis. There have been no reports of any damage or injuries. The New Madrid Fault Line, running through the Midwest, is considered a major seismic zone.
