About Lucy’s Light:
In March of 2009 Lucy Waldeisen was diagnosed with High Risk Neuroblastoma at age 3. Her tumor was found during a routine well-child check.  Pediatric cancer research receives the least amount of federal funding of any other cancer. Because of this, the Waldeisen family started a local organization, “Lucy’s Light,” to raise awareness and funds for pediatric cancer research. The funds raised by this organization will be given to Cookies for Kids’ Cancer which is a well established non-profit organization dedicated to children’s cancer.
