Waffle House is offering a big plate of cash for the person who helps police catch a couple of armed robbers.

Eighteen Waffle House restaurants in Georgia have been hit in the past two weeks, and authorities believe two men may be responsible for the stick-ups.

Each robbery follows a similar pattern. One or the both of the thieves will walk into a Waffle House between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. They order food at the counter and then wait for the meal to arrive. When it does, one of the men pulls out a gun and tells employees to open the registers. The latest holdup happened on Aug. 12.

Waffle House is offering a $2,500 reward for tips leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the heists. The suspects are described as black men in their 20s or 30s. One is tall (about six-foot-one) and thin, while the other is about five-nine and stocky.

If you spot the armed duo, the police urge you to call 911. Anyone with tips about the case can contact the Norcross Police tip line at (770) 448-6457.
