Over the weekend, two rapes were reported at two separate Montana State University fraternity houses.

Students and faculty were notified via email on Monday morning of the incidents. It is federal law that these notification warnings be sent out to warn against future occurrences.

MSU police responded to a report of a rape at the Sigma Chi fraternity at 1:24 a.m. Sunday. The victim was drinking with new friends at the house and reported being taken into a room and sexually assaulted by two unnamed men.

At 3:45 a.m. Sunday, MSU police received a report from a woman who said she had been partying at the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity house on Friday night. She suspected she had been drugged and sexually assaulted.

MSU police are investigating both reports.
